DR. COOK'S ALLEGATIONS
DID THE ESKIMOS MISLEAD
PEARY ?
tTJniteu Press Association—Copyright.) Received October 14, 10.50 p.m. OTTAWA, October 14.
Dr Cook declines to enter into a newspaper controversy. He will shortly submit proof to the Danish Geographical/ Society that Peary's accusations are the same old story. The Eskimos, he says, promised to give Peary no information, and they have kept their word. Their evasive replies have been twisted to suit perverted interest.
