With the aid of the Conciliation Council an agreement has been arrived at regarding the hours and wages of carpenters and joiners. It provides for a working week of 45 hours, with a, minimum wage of Is. 4d. per hour. Piecework and subletting are prohibited except in a case of etairbuilding only.
