PALMERSTON N., June 17. Messrs Abraham and' Williams, Ltd., report as follows:-—
A.good demand existed for all clases of stock and competitxm throughout the sale was keen. Several lines of sheep advertised did not piit in an appearance owing to the heavy rain, but cattle came forward in full numbers' and met with a ready sale, every lot being disposed of at satisfactory prices. We^ quote:— Fat ewes lls lOd to 12s 6d, s.m. ewes in lamb lls 7d, good ewe lambs 10s Bd, jrood wether lambs 9s 3d, mixed lambs 8s 6d, empty 2 and 4-tooth ewes (small^ 9s s<l. full lambs 4s 6d, 3-year steers £5, 18-month steers £2 10s, yearling steers 345, 9-iUu.nth steer 32s 6d, fat cows £3 l7s to £4, forward cows £3; 5s to-£3 12s 6d, u empty forward heifers £3 ss, 2-year speyed heifers' £2 lls, 18r month heifers in calf 39s 6d, store cows 25s to £2, springing cows £6 t:> £6 55.:
