In directing attention to Mr Albert Barns' sale of poultry, pigs, and produce we are asked to state that the fowl grit to be offered is composed of pulverized sea shells, small marine gravel, and minute shells, which are acknowledged to be the best kind of fowl grit procurable, and which after a few trials enable the hens to shell their eggs with hard shells, and owing to the lime and other health-giving qualities contained in the grit it is the best article of its kind ever put on the market. Small bags. No reserve.

In our auction columns appear particulars of a sale of household furniture and effects to be held at the residence of Mr C. Cov.dery, No. 43, Wicksteed Street. The sale will be conducted by Mr Keesing, commencing at 1 o'clock on Tuesday, 9th inst.
