Last evening (says a Press wire) the laranaki Chamber of Commerce decided to support the setting up of a commission to remodel the bankruptcy laws. The Chamber also entered an emphatic protest against the Canterbury Farm Labourers' Union attempting, by political interference, to tamper with the impartial administration of the Arbitration Court Judge, such interference being subversive to the best interests of the State.
