At Eltham on Wednesday, 26th', we had a full yarding of advertised cattle, which, were of-good quality and met with ready sale at the hammer or immedi-
ately afterwards. Wo quote—Forward byr steers £5 Izs, fresh uo £5, yearling steers £1 13s, fresh' and forward cows £'£ lils (id to £4 is, store do £l 18a to £2 3s, 2yr empty neiters £i ids b'd to £1 16s (>cl, yearling uo £l 5s bd, calves 16s (sd. ivir .Bennett's dairy eo.vs brought £4 10s to ±;o' itte. Other dairy, cows made £4 10 to £8 10s. At llaponga, on Friday, 28th inst., we had a good yarding, which met with keen competition at ruling prices. We quote:—Fresh and forward cows £2 10s to £4 10s, store do. £1 14s to £2 5s 6d, iJ-year heifers 33s to 3ys, ealveslVs, springing heifers £3 17s b'd to £4 10s, White Jjiiephant and Up to-i>ato seeo. potatoes made 8s per cwt.
