DUNEDIN, August 30. At the Supreme Court on the 17th inst, Daisy Edwards, aged 20, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment on a charge of unlawfully permitting an instrument to be used on her. The girl was liberated yesterday. The Governor having remitted the remainder of the sentence.
