WELLINGTON, August 30. In Chambers 3'esterday, before Mr .Justice Ccop?r. a nolle prosequi was entered by the Crown in respect of the case of Wallace Herbert Stewart, who was recently tried in tho Supreme Court a second time on the same charge of forgery. The jury if will be remembered disagreed last week. The action will thus go no further. At the Supreme Court yesterday the marriage «f7is Velyn McLennan or White to John White was declared null android on the ground that the former wife of the respondent was alive when the later
marriage was clebrated. . A decree nisi was granted in the case of Helen Ritchie Ball v. Alfred Ball on the grounds-of desertion.
