Warringtpn sanctioned the formation of a company to take over ■"■" The Times.:", - Mr. Walter is chairman, Mr. Mdbberly Bell manager, and the. rest .of ..the directors are Buckle; Chirol, Monke, Penney, and the leading! membdrs of the staff. No shares are offered to "the public. .There is- to be no change is' a political or editorial direction of the paper', Avhich will be ccjnducted by. the same, .staff on tho. independent, lines hitherto pursued. .' The. ; suggests, that Rothschild and Northcliffe provided the bulk of "The Times" capital, and states that the goodwill is valued at £320,----000, without the plant and' freehold ■premises. : The " Daily Mail "' states that the capital of "The Times" Company; is £750,000. '
