AUCKLAND, March 11. The scow Moon ah was built six yea>-* ago at a cost of £2500. She was nob insured. She is sunk in six fathoms ol water, right in the fairway, the hull being practically cut in two. The foretopmast just shows above water. The mizzen was broken off by the deck. On of the scow's crew was aloft furlin w the top sail when the vessels collided. He was thrown on the deck of the steamer, but escaped serious injury, and avoided a ducking. The master of the scow,"Captain Sylva, was at the wheel when the Wairuna struck his vessel. -His leg was hroken by the wheel 'spinning beyond his control".
