At a meeting of the Hall Committee -on Saturday night it was decided that -as the' timber for the hall, extension had not arrived that the alterations to the building should be postponed until sifter the concert and dance, bwhich ■> is to be held on the 28th inst. ■
Our creamery will be. closing down for rfche winter about the end of this* weelc. '■
Messrs. CraAvshaw and Sewell have "bought out Mr Armetrpng's interest in -the Puao section of ISOOi acrps, part of university reserve. - .' The late heavy rains, .have brought xloavji a few slips on the roads of the district, but nothing very..big;'■' • -: I am glad to hear that ; Mr. Jack -Stokes is so far recovered as !to be able to get home again la^t Friday. •■-- — Tlie local school broke up; for. thqir winter holidays on Friday. ;
