CHRISTCHURCH, September 13. Mi v. Wilson, of Cashmere Estate, on the Port Hilis, has expressed a desire to give a'site on the estate for the '-purposo of. tho proposed consumption ; sanatorium. ' The Sanatorium Commit- ' tea decided t6 accept the offer when formally made, provided it is possible ta make roads to the site and it is otherwise suitable.

THE HARVESTER TRUST.

CHRISTOHURCH, September 13

A Labour meeting to protest against the operations of the Harvester Trust was held here this^evehing, and was attended by 500 workers, representative of all trades. Resolutions were passed drawing the .attention of Parliament to the danger threatened to the colonial manufacturers, and calling upon the Legislature to take the necessary steps to grant redress. A resolution was almo passed asking for the moral support of the Labour Unions throughout the colony in tho fight against the Trust.
