WANGANUI AGRICUTLURAL ASSOCIATION.
Tho usual monthly meeting of the committee was held in the secretary's office last night, when there were present—Messrs. 0. H. Nixon (in the chair), J. Dempsey, G.- Smith, R. Russell, A. C. Lees, J. J. Taylor, J. AVilson, J. T. Sinclair, A. JJurnett, Dr. Graham, C. J. Russell. Apologies for absence wero received from Messrs.*!1. A. Bamber, J. B. Murray, E. Perrett, J. G. Swan, A. Bignell, C. F. Mill-
at aid, and A. Atkins. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.
It wa/j resolved that Mr. Murray's notice of motion stand over until next roeeting. On tho motion of Mr. Nixon, seconded by Mr. Burnett, it was resolved that the secretary write thanking the Farmer':! Club for offer of the rooms for committee meetings. Letter from Education Board.—Resolved that Mr. A. Burnett act as delegate to conference on the 27th, with power to act. New Zealand Kennel Club.—The secretary reported that ho had attended the annual meeting of the Kennel Club, and that that body had been reorganised, and was now controlled by Mr. P. Hunter (president), Messrs. Ryan (Auckland), Durward (Manawatu), Jensen (Wellington), and Dovey (secretary). On tho motion of Mr. Nixon, secondeel by Mr. Sinclair, a bonus of £5 ss. was voted towards the secretary's expenses. Mr. G. S. Robertson wrote thanking tho committee for letter expressing rer gret at his absence on account of illhealth.
Mr. Redaelli.—lt was resolved that Mi1. Redaelli be written to informing Lim that tho charge for space for merry-go-round would be £15. New Members.—On the motion of Mr Nixon, seconded by Mr. Burnett, the following new members were elected: — Messrs. R. J. Sewell, H. E. Dymock, David Whyte, W. R. Rutherford, J. Stoddart, M. Smith, F. Neylon, C. Gordon, W. Ellis, E. B. Davies. Agricultural Department.—lt was resolved that the secretary write to the. Secretary. of the Department of Agriculture, asking him to exhibit horses,. cattle, and poultry at tho Show, and give an exhibition of spraying apparatus. Letter received from tho secretary of tho Agricultural Conference, asking for list; or gentlemen in the district qualified to act a'j judges.—Resolved, that tho following names be -submitted:— Blood, horses: A.
