HOCKEY.
The final1 match between Wanganui and T.Y.-M.L, in" which much interest is being taken, will be played next Saturday* afternoon on the College Ground, which has been kindly lent for the •occasion. Mr H. Payne will act as -referee in. the match, which .will'start' at 3 'o'clock. This match is the longed-looked ■f»r,. final fight for the shield. As. there has been considerable interest shown in hockey this year there should be- a large attendance. Admission will 'be free, but a collection dn aid of the ground will be taken up. Several young ladies -have volunteered to take round the hat.
