Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, September 5. A middle-aged man named Thos. McCombe, who admitted a charge of having committed an unnatural offence at Christohurch, was committed to the Supremo Court for sentence.

NAPIER, September 5. At the Supreme« Court to-day Patrick John Costigan was found guilty of assaulting Richard James O'Sullivan and causing him bodily harm. He was remanded foi* sentence.

The jury returned a verdict of not guilty in the caso of Joseph Lyons, charged with assaulting Charles McCarthy.
