Per Press Assoeoation. CHRISTCHURCH, September 4. The statement for the 18th week of the egy-laying competition at Lincoln College shows that 894 eggs were laid during the week., making a total of 8644 to date. The best day's laying since the start of the competition was on September 3rd, when 139 eggs were laid. Highest for the week:: W. B. Cowlishaw (Black Orpington) 34, Geo. Rollinson (Black Orpingtons) 33, H. Leger (White Wyandottes) 33. Highest for the 18th week: H. Hawke (Silver Wyandottes) 431, J. Mann (White Wyandottes) 369, A. M. Price (Black Orpingtons) 397, E. Wilder (Black Orpingtons) 356, A. H. Bristed (Black Orpingtons) 354.
