Reports received here sijate. that a native rising in Samoa is inevitablenmless radical changes, in the administration arc made, or a considerable permanent garrison established. .
AUCKLAND, July 11. Mr. A. Kronfeld, an island trader, whc v-as in Samoa a few. weeks ago, intervieAved, states that the cable news is incredible, as the natives were quiet and everything quiet. There was not thu least necessity for increasing the military force and not a whisper about a native rising. The. rumour was probably originated by a small section op£osec! to Solf'.i administration. Ths German Consul here has no infcrmation of any disturbance at Samoa.
