LONDON, July 6. Eighteen competitors entered for the Gordon Bennett Cup motor race at Laschamps, in France. The race was run over a 342-mile course, and resulted —They (Granee) Ist, in a Richard-Bras-ier car, time 7 hours 2 mins. 42 sees.; Nazari (Italy), 2nd, in a Fiat car, time 7 hours 19 mins. 9 sees.; Cagus (Italy), 3rd, in a Fiat car, time 7 hours 21 mins. 22 sees. The English competitors finished eighth and ninth.
