UNHAPPY ASYLUM ATTENDANTS.

CHRISTCHUKCiI,. December 1. With regard to the transfer of five attendanta at Sunnyside Asylum to other institutions, it is understood that the position has arisen owing to the action of several attendants who were not concerned in the recent agitation. They represented that on account of their attitude their lives were being made unhappy by their fellow -attendants who took part an the agitation. They appealed to the authorities, and Dr. Hay was sent to Christchurch to hold an inquiry, with the resu'ib that five attendants have been .transferred.
