Mr Arthur Bull, aged 66, a member of the Assets Board, and director of the Bank of New. Zealand, Freezing Coinpanv, and other concerns, is dead. NAPIER, November 16. T. B. Bas, who set out at 9.2 on Thursday night to break the world's club-swinging. record of 40 hours 10 minutes, accomplished his task at 1.13 on Saturday afternoon. Bax experienced difficulty in keeping awake early on Saturday morning, but freshened up as the day advanced) and hoped to go for several hours more. However, after adding 47 minutes to the record he had the misfortune to drop a club when doing some fancy swinging, and thus spoilt his chance. '
