PRESBYTERIAN GENERAL ASSEMBLY.

DUNEDIN, November 16. The AssemTJly authorised the Moderator to grant commissions to the minister and elders who are visiting England to represent the church there. It was mentioned that Mr Aitken, of .Wellington, Mr W. Allen and the Rev. Rodger, of Waikau, are likely to go. Dr. Erwin was nominated, as the nest Moderator.

The overture of Wellington and Wanganui, inviting the Rev. Ross, of Gasgow,. to visit the colony, was agreed to; also suitable financial arrangements were made.
