Gas Works Engineer.—Asking for leave ot , abs.ence for his annual holiday.—Granted, j Department of Justice.— Forwarding circular showing control of licensing districts, also* agreeing to allow prison labour to be employed in Queen'si Park. ♦Garifen Hoses.—Solicitor's opjinaon! that under the new bye-laws the Council had power to prosecute. , Veterans' Home.—From the Governor, asking, if the Council had any fund's, that they be forwarded.
