The Arbitration Court to-day gave its decision in tilie case broiUgliit by the Typographical Union .against several Oliristchurch, printing firms for a breach, of the 1900 award. That award fixed journeymen's wages at £3 per week of 48 hours. Subsequently the Factories Act limited; Ulie (hours of women and children to 45. The employers thereupon paid journeyimen £2 16s. 3d., fixing the hours at 54 per week. The Court lield that tfoe employers were' not acting unreasonably, and the case was dismissed! without costs.
