Prices were maintained at the Johnsonyille stock sale to-day. Cattle showed ar increase, bullocks bringing as high as £14 17s 6d.

Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co.. in .conjunction with Messrs Abraham and Williams, report on their Johnsonville safe as follows: —
The yarding of cattle, mostly of prime quality, with a few pens of heavy rough bullocks, were keenly competed for, and made; from 30s to 31s, a few pensi up to 325, .pier 100 lbs. Best bullocks. £13 2s 6d to £14, others £12 to £13, small bullocks £9 12s 6d to £10 12s. 6d, heiavy weights up to £14 17s 6d. There was a heavy yarding of sheep, and. with the exception of a few pens, al^ were of good quality, and sold freely. Best ewes 14s lid to 15s Id, others. 14s 6d to 14s 9d, rough ewes 10s 6d ; light wethers 12s Id. A few small stores met a> keen aale. and sold at from 10s to 15s 6d.
