The Manawatu A. and P. Association has decided! that the Wood-chopping Competition, ft the forthcoming show, will be in the form of a match instead of a handicap. Mr. D. P. Buchanan was deputed by the Association to give evidence before the Frozen Meat. Committee now sitting in the House relative to the* export of frozen meat and the price of stock in both islands. No action, was taken by the Asswiaitiwn in: reference to the request of the Auckland A. and P. Association's cooperation in obtaining better shipping facilities for stock at Auckland.
