WELLINGTON, September 22
It is understood that an agreement will be arrived at within a few days between the Government and the Manawatu Railway Company by which- arrangements will be made for reciprocal running rights. Possibly the agreement will make provision for trains to run straight through from W**' lington to New Plymouth and vice versa without the necessity of passengers trans* ferring at Palmerston as at present.
The agreement will refer to passenger trains only.
