Dixs Gaiety Company appear at the Opera House an Wednesday and Thursday evenings. This Company has a de&erved popularity in all the centres, and it. secures the' pick of England, American and Australian artists. Amongst those who are visiting Wanganui on the present occasion are the following: —Miss Lizzie Kirk, the wonderful little English comedienne; Mr Frank Leon, the world's champion dancer; Chas. Pope and Irving Sayles, the two great negro comedians ; James Harvey and Madge Morris, the versatile sketch artists; Miss Molly Bentley, thet bright descriptive vocalist j *Mr Chas. Howard, the popular Australian baritone; Miss Pearl Lovell. th« charming young serio and dancer; Mr Tom Saunders, a clever comedian. It is certainly the strongest variety company that has toured this colony, and each of the above has a reputation in his or her, own line.,. Mr Dix has been instrumental in bringing the best Australian talent to New Zealand, and no sooner has one star appeared thnn another takes his place. By visiting Dixs all the best variety artists can be seen The bos plan opens' at H. I. Jones and Son's this morning. ________
