MEASLES.
WELLINGTON, September 16. The epidemib of measles and scarlet fever which has prevailed in the city for several weeks is very widespread, and calls for moro time and attention, than the limited staff of the Health Department can afford. The City Council has therefore placed the services of one of its officiate at the disposal of the department for some weeks.
