Hockey.

The representative match between Manawatu and Wangaui will be played on the Racecourse to-morrow afternoon at 2.15 o'clock. The visitors will arrive by tlhe morning train on Tuesday,, and leave the same day. Last year the match was played in Palmerston, Wanganui proving victorious, and it remains to be seen whether Manawatu will succeed in turning the tables on this occasion. The following will represent Manawaitu :—A. Strong1, H. W. Scott, Lux-ford, D. Scott, Slack, Turner, Drew, McMurray, Bell, Louisloo, and Slack. Mr. George Cairver will act as referee.
