LABOUR DISPUTES.

AUCKLAND, September 12. An application for reference in an industrial dispute was filed to-day by the Auckland United Flour Mills Employees' Industrial Union, citing the following firing— Northern Roller Milling Company (Ltd.), Bycroft (Ltd.), and Samuel Carey Brown. The casQ is set down for hearing before the Board of Conciliation on the 24th of this mouth. CHRISTCHURCH, September 12. The Canterbury Sheep Owners' Union today appointed a committee to consider a case in the Arbitration Court in respect of a dispute filed by the Shearers' Union.
