Messrs. Freeman R. Jackson and! Co. hold to-day at Mr. J. W. Peake's farm, Brunswick, a clearing sale of lret-class dairy cattle, also farm implements, etc. The sale conMniences at noon. Luncheon •will be provided. A fine selection of lawn tennis and] cricketing goods is just landing, ex Baparoa., for Mr. Willis. These goods have been specially selected' flor Mr. Willis from Slazenger's, the finest maker of tennis and cricketing gooids known. Mr. Willia acts as special agent for Slazenger in this district, and! the ®ale of-these goods increase year by year at a very rapid rate. Slazenger's" tennis balls have again been selected, against all other makes, as the ball to be used for alt champion matches in England. Special mention must be made of Slazenger's cricket bats. They have this year been very carefully selected, and will be found of excellent quality. Wisden's bats, etc., are also kept in stock. Those clubs that have usedt Slazenger's cricket bats speak of them in the highest terms. Lists on application.
