To-day at 1i.30 the sale of Messrs McMaster and Shalders' valuable stock of drapery, clothing, etc., will be held by Mr J. H. 'Keesing. Tho sale wills be held at the premises, next Clothing Factory, and will be without reserve. Messrs Crichton and Newman, of the highgrade boot and shoe warehouse, Ridgway Street (opposite the old Theatre), wish everyone to know that their stock.of footwear is quite new and well selected. The firm make a point of selling a first-class article aba fair price Mr J. H. Keesing advertises to sell by auction on Wednesday, September 24th, on account of the executors in the estate of the late Mr S. G. Harris, some very desirable freehold sections. Full particulars may be had of the auctioneer. We have once mora amongst us Mr. Paul Bock, managing partner of P. Bock and Co., manufacturing chemists, of Auckland. We understand Mr. Bock, with another representative of the firm, intends canvassing the district in the interest of their house, whose herbal remedies and other preparations are said to be of great merit and deserve public confidence . Harrison's Sc-meried embrocation is, it is said, admitted by all who have used it to be far superior to anything of its kind yet introduced. Mr. Harrison is daily receiving bushels of testimonials, and Somerled is being used at all leading training stables and dairy farms on this coast, and is sold by all chemists and stoijes. Messrs. Harrowby and Knight are wholesale agents. Messrs. Joseph Paul and Co. are holding a grand display of. new spring goods on Friday next, illuminating their windows al 7 . 0 o'clock. Farm... are reminded of Messrs. Baddeley and Forlotng's stbek sale which takes .place at their sale yards, near the Wanganui Bridge, at 11.50 a.m. to-day. The firm will be offering a nice line of 'young steers, also a very choice line of young dairy stock. TKose wishing to secure soime mally firsti-class creamers should not lose this opportunity.
