Received September 4, 1.15 a.m. SYDNEY, September 3. TKe feeling in local cricket circles is adverse to the New Zealand1 suggestion that Australia should contribute to the expenses of Lordl Hawke's team. The opinion is.' helld that Australia has nothing to do with the New Zealand tour. Should the team play matches here or at Melbourne it should be a* matter quite distinct. The New Zealand! project would > have to be treated separately. Anyhow, it is premature to discuss details until it is ascertained if Lord! Ha wke will be able to accept the invitation to return via Australia. •
