Messrs Baddeley and Forlong are holding their first horse fair at the new sale yards on Saturday next, 6th inst., and request entries for alii classes of horses, as they have a number of inquiries. The sale starts at 1 p.m. Dinner can be. got next to yards, at Red Lion Hotel. Their next stock sale is on Wednesday, 10th instant. Messrs. Joseph Paul and Co.'si fire* shipments of new spring go^da have arrived. The goods "aite ueing markedl off, and drafted into the various departments ais quickly as possible. Amoner the iinesi marked off we notice some very nice Panama hats for ladies, also ladletf sailors, and a splendidrange of men'is straws in all slhapes, and worthy of special mention is the beautiful real Maltese lace collars and ties.
