NELSON, September 2. A football .match. Old E'oys Ohristchurch High School V. Old Boys Nelson College, was played to-day, and resulted in, favour of Christehurdh by eight pointe to: three. The game was very interesting and exciting in the .first speM. Boag obtained a try for ChristrfmrcE, and Bannebr a try for N.elson, neither being converted. In the second spell McMillan secured a try for Chrisitchurch, which Buchanan converted. No other score was obtained, though Nelson naitfotwly misised doing so. The following will represent the Highlanders in their mtaoh with Aramoho on Saturday next on the Rec. at 3 p.m. — FuM-back, Private McQuiggan; threequarters, Corpl. Craig, Privates Gordon and Sutherland; five-eighth, Private McGregor; half, Lance-Corpl. Braid, wings, Sergt. Craig and Private G. Thompson; forwards, Seirgt. Bell, Lance-Corpl. T. Thompson, Privates A. Gibbons, P. Thomson, R. Reynolds, W. H. Murray, and A. Nelson. Emergencies — Backs, Privates Whitcombe and Partington; forwards., Privates W. Piper, S. Sims, and A. McIntvre.
