WELLINGTON, August 17

The body of Thomas Daniels, a labourer, aged 45 years, was found in the Pirie street reserve last evening with a bullet hole in his head and the revolver grasped in his right hand-. Deceased left his home on Friday in a despondent f ram? of mind, remarking tio his wife that, as he could not get work, he would do away with himself.
