In the Coning Ham ca se, in cross-exam-ination, respondent emphaticially denied writing letters to petitioner, making arrangements .and giving him the pointers in regard to ?the. trial "which 'Mr Want had put in as evidence.

In the Coniiigham case to-day, Solicitor Mow!, ■who acted for the petitioner in the last case, produced a -rritten statement sent by the "petitioner for revision by his wife as to the evidence he was to get, and give at a former trial. The petitioner and respondent had both denied the existence of these papers. The petitioner explained, the denial, stating that Moss told him the papers had been torn up. This Moss denied..
The respondent when shown the papers said she v nad never seen them before or made 'alterations therein.
The cross-examination of respondent has been concluded.
