He had a number of interviews with his Excellency the Governor regarding the tour 6f the Yorks. Amongst the arrangements, made by Mr Donne was to secure the Grand Hotel,' Auckland, and the Grand Hotel, Rotonia, for the exclusive use of the Royal party.
