Collected' b- Messrs Davids Murray and Co. and employes of Murray's Foundry, " £2 12s 6d. His Worship thfe Mayor yesterday cabled to Sir Alfred Milner another £100, making ih ai'.l a total of £400. Also, by bank draft (separate), £18 17s lOd, being the amount subscribed by the Wanganui Collegiate School boys for the Wounded Soldiers' Fund. ! ! Received by; the secretary, Mv J. G. Woon — Miss Swainson, 15s. Mr J. G. Woon, hon. sec. of the above Fund, leaves by mid-day train to-day for Marton, but expects to be back to-morrow (Thursday) afternoon.
