PATEA NOTES.

(From Our Own Cobhespoxtient.) PATEA, February 22. Two severe accidents happened yesterday afternoon, Mrs Edward Derrctb being thrown from her trap on the Patea Hill, and hurting her bead, etc. It is not known exactly what injuries are sustained. Dr Porritt is in attendance. A sou of Mr T. Johnson fell from a building next Mi* Homer's office, aud dislocated bis ankle badly. He was takeu to tho Hospital, and is -under Dr Ponitt's care. The Montgomery Company visit us ou Monday with their varied entertainment. The Harbour Board meeting yesterday lapsed for want of a quorum. Mr Finnerty does not improve in health, and grave anxiety is caused to his friends.
