UNIVERSITY SENATE.
(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, February 23. The University Senate resumed this morning. The Chancellor's report was considered in committee, and it -.vats recommended that the Victoria College should be affiliated to the University; that examinations for degrees and honours should be held only at Auckland, AA'ellmgtou, Christchurch, and -Dunedin (this includes Wangauui), and that public function of presentation ol diplomas and honours be revived.
