STRUCK OIL.

A capital house witnessed the production of "Struck Oil" at the Drill Hall last even- [ iug. Voss play j I the! part of Mrs. Stofel very credilanly, while Miss Dora Mostyn scored a distinjt .succisj-' as Lizzie Stofel. The difficult role of the miserable fraud, Deacon Skinner, was ably sustained by Mr. (J. H. Cooper ; Mr. 11. L. Dalziel was prominent throughout as ("or geant Flynn, and Mr. G. Brown made a mirth-provoking Corporal .Sharp. The other p. ills, all of which bore evidence of care ful rekeu.r-,UI, were played by Messrs C T. .Seriijagec-ur {i)r. "I'eitrson), Mr. If. 'Ar , mitage (Oltieei* of the Day), O. W.ili.-ici (Rowley), A. .Cu-r Okibbin), and Master Harry Voss (Billy Piper). The piece was well mounted and appropriately dressed, and will well bear repetition this evening, when it -should be witnessed by a bumper holiday audience.
