We held our monthly sale at Okaiawa nn Thursday tbe fith. mtt., but thcr<» was only a small mubtar of cattle, though we are plea<ed to report ibat the bulk changed bands before leaving the yardf . We quote; — Bnuty cows and heifers, £2 10s 6d to £2 12s Od; cows and springers, £4, to £4 5s 6d ; 2-yecr heifers, £1 Us to £2 2s 6d • weaners and yearlings, 17s 6d to £ 1 143, On Monday, the 10th inst. wo held an unresf'rved sale of dairy stock, etc., on betalfof Mr Robt. Morrison at Stratford. The cows were a, gocd line and made their yalue, some going as high as £7. The frait, trees and other sundries sold very well, but tha farm itself was passed in, tbe vendor's resirve|not being reached. We quota :— fla'ry cows and heifers. £3 10s tj £7; hay, £2 155. At Manaia, on Wednesday the 12th hut, the yards were well sopplifd with icattli, some of them being- fat stock which Rold well. Other lines wereaUo well competed for so that wo bad a successful sals.
