Explain how you manufactured the four surpluses, and also how you don't attend to the duties of your office as Minister of Post and Telegraphs, but allow beads of ■ departments to rule, while your time is i principally given to the interests of the J. i 6. Word Company. '4, Explain how you don't reduce the ■ taxation on the necessaries of lifo, wbich was ono of . the planks of the Great Liberal Party when you got into office, and why you have been so false to the interests of the people ob to imposejnereased Customs ■ duties last session." We loave auy unbiassed person present at the meeting to judge whether tho Colonial Treasuror answered any of the3e important quoßtions— in faot he did not refer to some of them in any way whatever— to the satisfaction of the audience.— Egmont Post.
