Goldsboro, Mort, and Company's scheme of debentures are to be divided equally. A million and a half pounds at 4 per cent, and a million and a quarter pounds at 3 percent, irredeemable, [f the shareholders pay debtor each share, they immediately extinguish future liability and obtain preference shares The scheme also permits of shareholders to convert any portion into preference shares. It also propones in the event of any shareholder baing unable to pay the balance of the old call to permit of an extension of time for payment for five jears. Adelaide, August 2. The barqnentine Adelaide has arrived safely from the Thames. She encountered tempestuous weather and a succession of heavy head gales all the way.
