(PSB PSISS ASSOCIATION). Wellington, July 18. At the afternoon sitting of the Railway Insurance Conference, the discussion on Clause 6 of thelnsuranceßill was resumed. Sub-section A was amended so as to read. , — " The payment at the age of retirement or tt death, if prior, to each permanent employee or .his representatives, of & sum not exceeding one year's pay of such employee." Sub-sections B, D, and E were approved, sub-section 0 deferred, pending information being received regarding its bearing on accidents. The sick-pay now granted, to railway employeee.undur rules and regulations of Service Clause 6 was next discussed. Sub-section 1 was approved, but considerable discussion ensued on sub-section 2, the question being its sub-division into three partß, providing for insurance, superannuation, and nick-pay, The discussion was not concluded when the conference adjourned.
