I ' (Per Pnisss Association.) Auckland, July 18. A seaman named Mort has been committed for trial for an indecent assault. , • Charles. Hosketh haR been elected a . member of the City- Council. The railway Authorities have raised the price of conntry teachers yearly tickets for Saturdays from £1 to JB3. The University Colloge Council and the Board of Education join in a representation to the Railway Authorities. An application has been made to the University College Council that lectures be given on journalism, applied science, and teaching. Nothing, however, has been done.
