Tlio ordinary monthly meeting of tlio aboro Board was hold at tho County Ohambor yesterday. Prosout— Messrs Rambor (Chairman), Reid, Knscoe, Rod. wnll, and McGregor. Minutes.— Tho minutes of tho fast mooting wero road and confirmed. Metallino ('ONTBACT3.— Mr McGregor reported that tho uiotalling contracts on Koid'a I'-lafc and Matarawa Hill had boon , completed, and that the Durio Hill contract had boon commenced. On tho motion of thn Chairman it was rosolvad that tho metalling of the GOOyds' stretch beyond Messitor's gate bo deferred till tho spring. Bangui:. — Mr Damber proposed, '-That Mr H. Campbell be appointed Ranger for tho Board's district, aud that his attention be called to the numbor of horses straying at Durietown." This was seconded by Mr Reid and carried. Grubbing and Fubze Clipping. — It was resolved that Messrs Christie, Hopper, G. Silcock, and Mrs Voltz be given notice to cut, grub, and remove the furze growing on the road abutting their properties within one month. Tho mooting then adjourned.
