A hack is a horse that has never won an advertised race (Hack and Hunters' races excepted), and that is not, at tho | time of start, and has not been during the six calendar months previous to time of start, nominated for any race, hack and hunter excepted. 2 All races to be run under Metropolitan Rules of Racing, 1891. 3. All entries to be sealed and addre?sed to the Secretary, Fordell, with age at time of entry, and, in case of handicaps where horses have not started in Wanganui Metropolitan District, performance of horse. 4. No entry or nomination will be received unless accompanied with necessary amount of cash, to be in the hands of the Secretary by 9 p.m. on date of closing. 5. All races to be ridden in colours to be sent in which acceptance or general entry. 6. Fordell Telegraph Office closes at 5 p.m. 7. The course is situated one mile from Fordell Railway station.
