I—Handicap1 — Handicap Hurdle Race, of 30 soys, second horse to receive 5 soys from the stakes ; about 2 miles and a distance, over 8 nights of hurdles, 3ft 6in high ; the winner of any hurdle race of the value of 15 soys or over, after declaration of weights, to carry a penalty of 71bs; nomination, 10s; acceptance, 1 soy. To start at 11.30 a.m. 2 — Fltiko Handicap, of 35 soys, second horse to receive 6 soys from the stokes; }-mile; the winner of any Flat race of the value of 15 soys or over after declaration ef weights to carry a penalty of 51bs ; nomination, 15s ; acceptance, 1 soy. To start at 12.15 p.m. 2 — Ngawaieikei Stakes Handicap, of 20 Boys, second horse to receive 6 soys from the stakss j one mile and a distance, open to horses, the bona-fide property of Maoris, 6 months prior to date of entry, and that have not won an advertised race of any dea eription previous to date of entry, the winner of any race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lOlbs ; nomination, 1 soy j acceptance nil. To start at 1 p.m. 4 — Trial Hurdleb, of 10 soys, open to horses that have never won an advertised hurdle race or Steeple chase prior to entry ; weight for age, over 4 flights of hurdles, 3ft 6in high ; 1 mile and a distance ; entrance, 10s. To Btart at 2 p.m. s— Turakina Jockey Club Handicap of 60 soys, second horse to receive 5 soys from the stakes ; H miles ; the winner of any Flat race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 71bs, not cumulative ; nomination, 1 sjv ; acceptance, £1 10s. To start at 2.45 p.m. 6— Jubilee Stakes of 15 soys, weight *or age ; 1 mile and a quarter ; open to horses that have never won an advertised race of any description prior to entry ; entrance, 15s. To start at 3.15 p.m. 7 — p OST Stakes of 10 soys; i-mile; catch weights ; open to horses that are not entered for any race at the meeting ; post entry, 10s. To start at 4 p.m. 8- Railway Handicap of 25 soys, second horse to receive 5 soys from the stakes; 1J- miles; weights declared after the Turakina J.C. Handicap is run; nomination, 10s; acceptance (on the course half-an-hour before the start) lfis. To start at 4.30 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. Horses entitled to run at this meeting are those that have never won an advertised race (rule 2, Rules of Eacing) and are not entered for any race at date of entry (hack and hunter races excepted. 2. Rules of racing strictly adheredi o. 3- Jockeys to ride in colours ; colours to be sent in on general entry night. 4. No nomination or entry will be received under any pretence whatever, unless actually accompanied by the necessary amount payable. 5. All claims and objections which may arise out of the racing shall ba decided by a majority of stewards present, or their appointees whose decision shall bo final on all points in the carrying out of this programme. 6. Performances of all horses,_ also age and pedigree, must be sent in with nomination or entry. Nominations close with the Secretary at tno Ben Nevis Hotel, Turakina, on Thursday, 3lst December, 1891. at 10 p.m. Weights declared on Thursdsy, 14th January, 3892. We are willing to ADVANCE LIBERALLY, and we charge no interest on the advance nor exchange between here and London. We are prepared to make liberal advances on FROZEN MUTTON. and we are now shipping largo quantities from Canterbury through our Christchurch house, and we are advised by our London house that sales have been most satisfactory, and that they have made special and advantageous arrangements for the disposal of a large quantity of frozen meat there. BUTTER. This season thero will be plenty of space in the DIRECT STEAMERS, and we have made arrangements to avoid delays anywhere, so that if the Butter is really prime when sent from the dairy payable results should be obtained. (Liberal advances made on Butter.) It is wi66 to send only the best quality of this, and only those should send even that quality who are so situated as to be able to produce the article atthe minimum cost. Both in America and in London low prices are ruling at present. We are keeping ourselves fully advised by cable and letter, and we will advance according to circumstances.
